Submitted photo Keith Deltano, center, a national speaker from North Carolina who uses comedy as an effective tool to grab the attention of students and address bullying, spoke to kindergarten through 12th-grade students at Mountain Pine School District on Friday. Bobby Applegate, Mountain Pine superintendent, wanted to find a way to address school bullying to students in every grade and Denise Taylor, curriculum coordinator, believed Deltano would best be able to make a connection with students using humor to tackle difficult subjects.
