If you are planning to vote in the coming midterm election but are not yet registered, you have only a few days left to do it. Tuesday, Oct. 9, is the last day to register.
Registration forms can be printed from the Garland County Election Commission website, http://garlandcountyvote.org, or picked up at the county clerk's office. Mail completed forms or take them to the county clerk before 5 p.m. Oct. 9, at the Garland County Court House, 501 Ouachita Ave., Room 103.
It is a good idea to check your registration now to make sure you are registered, especially if you have moved or changed your name since you last voted. Go to http://garlandcountyvote.org and click on "View My Ballot" and type in your name and birth date. If you are registered, all your voting information will appear.
For more information, contact the county clerk's office, Garland County Court House, 501 Ouachita Ave., Room 105, Hot Springs, AR 71901. Website: http://GarlandCounty.org -- Departments -- County Clerk. Phone: 501-622-3610.
Call 501-624-0300 for a volunteer to bring you a voter registration form if you don't have access to the internet or otherwise need help with registering.
