Dear editor: When Democrat Mitch Landrieu was asked on "60 Minutes" a few years ago to describe his predecessor, former Democrat Mayor of New Orleans Ray Nagin, his response was "inept and corrupt." He was, in fact, both of those things. He was sentenced to 10 years in jail for the corrupt part, and they should have added another 10 for the inept part, as you may remember he was the mayor who put 20,000 people in the Superdome with no food or water, violating the most basic rule of hurricanes to have at least three days of the above.
