Trump's records

Dear editor:

While reading an article from your July 29 edition, I came upon an interesting quote by former President Reagan. "We should beware of the demagogues who are ready to declare a trade war against our friends, weakening our economy, our national security and the entire free world, all while cynically waving the American flag." This brings up an interesting conundrum for the Trumpsters. Reagan or Trump, whom should they believe?

Regarding Mr. Freeman's "Look at the numbers," here is something he omitted. He cited percentage of GNP to help illustrate his points. During the Obama administration, two tax cuts were passed that were a larger percent of GNP than Trump's cuts. Hardly "massive tax increases."

I am fairly confident, if by some cruel twist of fate Trump wins a second term, he will accomplish two presidential records. First, most rounds of golf played while in office and secondly, largest deficits incurred during any administration.
