St. Mark Baptist hosts

anniversary celebration

St. Mark Baptist Church, 542 Crescent Ave., will celebrate the 20th anniversary of moderator Donald R. and first lady Kathy Crossley at 3 p.m. Sunday. The theme is "Rooted in the Past, Growing into Our Future." Guests will be the Rev. Steven King and St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, of Pine Bluff. Everyone is welcome.

'Prophecy Countdown'

A prophecy seminar, "Prophecy Countdown," will be held at Hot Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church, 401 Weston Road, each Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday through Oct. 14. Topics to be presented by Pastor Ron Ray include: "Predictions for the 21st Century," at 11 a.m. today and "Hope for a World in Tumult" at 7 p.m.; and "The Battle Behind the Throne" on Sunday, "Revelation's Peace Maker" on Tuesday, "Hope Beyond Tomorrow" on Wednesday and "Revelation's Amazing Prophecy" on Friday, all at 7 p.m.

The seminar is designed for those interested in America in Bible prophecy. Prophecies from the Bible are unfolding before the world. Attendees will learn about God's plan for His people in the last days of Earth's history.

A meeting for children ages 6-12 will be offered concurrently in the fellowship hall of the church. There is no charge to attend these prophecy meetings, and everyone is welcome to bring their family. For more information, call 855-662-6027.
